Questions
Everything worth asking before you book
Straight answers on pricing, sessions, dogs and kennels, shows, film, travel and delivery. Anything that hasn't been set yet — turnaround times, image counts, cancellation terms — is deliberately left out rather than guessed at. Ask on WhatsApp and you'll get a real answer.
Booking
How do I book a shoot?
Send an enquiry through the contact page or message LUXELENS on WhatsApp with your date, location and what you need. You'll get the package options and availability back, and the date is held once it's confirmed.
Can I book photography and video together?
Yes. Photo and video can be covered in the same session, and vertical clips for Instagram or TikTok can be shot alongside the stills. Longer packages leave more room for both.
Is there really a free monthly shoot?
Yes — one free 1-hour shoot in London is given away each month, free to enter, drawn on the last day of the calendar month. Entries open once the full terms are published; nothing about the draw is invented in the meantime.
Pricing
How much does a LUXELENS shoot cost?
Sessions start at £150 for one hour, £300 for two hours, £500 for four hours and £800 for a full eight-hour day. Editing is included in every package. Larger or multi-day projects are quoted individually.
Is editing included in the price?
Yes. Editing and colour grading of the selected frames are included in the package price, not charged as an extra. Video packages include cutting, grading and a sound mix using licensed music.
Videography
What kind of canine video do you produce?
Cinematic dog films, kennel and breeder promotional video, dog show coverage, and short-form vertical content for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
Dogs & Kennels
Where can the shoot take place?
Anywhere in London that works for your dog — parks, streets, waterside locations, your home or garden, or an indoor low-key setup. If you are unsure, tell me your dog's temperament and I'll suggest locations.
Can multiple dogs be photographed?
Yes. Multiple dogs are welcome, and group frames as well as individual portraits are possible. More dogs usually means booking two hours or more so there is time to work with each one calmly.
Do I need to bring anything to a dog shoot?
Bring whatever keeps your dog settled — a lead, treats, a favourite toy, water. A second handler is useful for movement and off-lead frames where it is safe and legal.
Can you create content for breeder and kennel social media?
Yes. Alongside website imagery, the same visit can produce vertical stills and short clips sized for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
Do you photograph all bully breed types?
Yes. American Bullies across the recognised types, along with other bully breeds, are regularly photographed — from pet dogs to show and kennel dogs.
Dog Shows
Do you cover full dog shows?
Yes. Full-day show coverage includes ringside classes, movement and stacking, placements, exhibitors and the atmosphere around the ring. Full days are booked as the eight-hour package or quoted as a custom project.
Travel
Where does LUXELENS work?
Bookings fall into three categories. London shoots carry no travel charge at all. UK shoots are booked instantly with an automatic round-trip travel calculation from your postcode — fuel, tolls and travel time at £25 per hour. Europe & Worldwide shoots are quoted personally, with travel, logistics and any accommodation itemised in your quote before anything is confirmed.
Delivery
Do you deliver vertical as well as landscape edits?
Yes. A landscape edit for websites and a vertical set for social can be delivered from the same coverage, framed for both crops on the day.
