A dog photographer in London who shoots at the dog's pace

Sessions for individual dogs, photographed on location across London or in a controlled low-key setup — whichever suits the dog. Portraits, movement and detail frames, edited in-house, with video available in the same booking.

How a London session runs

  1. 01

    Before the shoot

You tell me your dog's age, temperament and how they behave around strangers. We agree a location and a time of day where the light and the crowds both work.

  2. 02

    On the day

The first frames are calm and close — lead on, no pressure. Once the dog has settled, we move to portraits, then movement and recall work where it is safe.

  3. 03

    After the shoot

I select the strongest frames and edit them in-house: colour, contrast and clean-up, with the coat and structure left honest. Editing is inside the price.

Dog photography questions

  • How much does a LUXELENS shoot cost?

Sessions start at £150 for one hour, £300 for two hours, £500 for four hours and £800 for a full eight-hour day. Editing is included in every package. Larger or multi-day projects are quoted individually.

  • Is editing included in the price?

Yes. Editing and colour grading of the selected frames are included in the package price, not charged as an extra. Video packages include cutting, grading and a sound mix using licensed music.

  • Can I book photography and video together?

Yes. Photo and video can be covered in the same session, and vertical clips for Instagram or TikTok can be shot alongside the stills. Longer packages leave more room for both.

  • Where can the shoot take place?

Anywhere in London that works for your dog — parks, streets, waterside locations, your home or garden, or an indoor low-key setup. If you are unsure, tell me your dog's temperament and I'll suggest locations.

  • Can multiple dogs be photographed?

Yes. Multiple dogs are welcome, and group frames as well as individual portraits are possible. More dogs usually means booking two hours or more so there is time to work with each one calmly.

  • Do I need to bring anything to a dog shoot?

Bring whatever keeps your dog settled — a lead, treats, a favourite toy, water. A second handler is useful for movement and off-lead frames where it is safe and legal.

Ready to book your dog's session?

Tell me the date, the part of London and a little about your dog. If a bully breed session is what you're after, there's a dedicated page for that, and kennels are covered separately.
