What a bully breed session covers
Portraits
Head studies and full-body portraits, usually low-key. A hard source across the shoulder and clean separation from the background does more for structure than any amount of retouching.
Stacked presentation
Where the dog and the purpose call for it, stacked frames are shot with the handler setting the dog properly rather than the camera forcing a pose.
Movement & action
Gaiting, turns and drive shot at shutter speeds that hold the detail, in light that still shows the coat rather than flattening it.
Kennel content
Multi-dog days where every dog gets its own frames, matched in look so a kennel's website and listings feel like one body of work.

Handling comes first
Nothing is worth stressing a dog for. Sessions start slowly, the dog decides how fast we move on, and the handler stays involved throughout. If a dog is not comfortable stacked, we shoot what the dog gives instead — the frames are better for it.
Editing keeps the dog honest. Colour, contrast and clean-up, without reshaping structure or inventing muscle definition that is not there.
