Dog Photography
Professional dog photography, shot at the dog's pace
LUXELENS photographs dogs as subjects, not props. Portraits on location or under controlled low-key light, movement and action frames, puppies and litters, kennel and breeder programmes, and dog shows — photographed across London, throughout the UK and into Europe, with editing included in every booking.

What a dog photography session covers
Every session is built around the dog in front of the lens — its age, temperament and how it behaves around strangers. Nothing is forced, and no frame is worth stressing an animal for.
- Studio-style low-key portraits using controlled lighting on location
- Outdoor dog photography in parks, woodland, water and urban settings
- Movement, recall and action frames where it is safe to run the dog
- Puppy photography and full litter coverage
- Multiple dogs in one session, with individual and group frames
- Detail frames — head, structure, coat, eyes, paws
Kennels, breeders and breeding programmes
A large part of the LUXELENS canine work is commercial rather than personal: stud and dam portraits, litter documentation, kennel branding imagery and the recurring social content that keeps a breeding programme visible between litters. Structure and coat are edited honestly — nothing is reshaped to sell a dog it is not.
Dog shows and events
Ringside coverage, handler and dog together, rosettes and placings, plus the quieter moments between classes. Shows are unrepeatable, so coverage is planned around the class schedule rather than a fixed hour.
Photo and video in one booking
Stills and motion are shot side by side. Vertical social edits, reels and short promotional films can come out of the same session, which is usually cheaper and less disruptive than booking a separate video day.
Editing, delivery and image quality
Selection and editing are done in-house — colour, contrast and clean-up, with the dog left recognisable. Delivery is through a private LUXELENS gallery where you review, favourite and download your images at full resolution.
Where LUXELENS shoots
London is the home base and carries no travel charge. Sessions run across the rest of the UK and into Europe, with travel calculated transparently from the LUXELENS base before you commit.

Dog photography questions
Do you photograph nervous or reactive dogs?
Yes. Tell me honestly how the dog behaves around strangers and other dogs before we book, and the location, time of day and approach are chosen around that. Reactive dogs are photographed on lead, with leads removed in editing where needed.
Can you photograph more than one dog in a session?
Yes. Multiple dogs are common, and you get both individual portraits and group frames. More dogs means more time, so a two-hour or half-day booking usually suits a multi-dog session better than an hour.
Do you offer studio dog photography?
LUXELENS shoots controlled low-key portraits using portable lighting brought to your location — the studio look without moving the dog into an unfamiliar building.
Is editing included in the price?
Yes. Selection, colour, contrast and clean-up are all included in the session price. There is no separate editing fee.
How do I book a dog photoshoot?
Check live availability and book online, or message LUXELENS on WhatsApp with your dates and location. A deposit confirms the slot and the balance is due around the shoot.
