London locations that work

The right location depends on the animal, the light and how busy the space will be at that hour. LUXELENS shoots regularly in:

  • West London — Ealing, Acton, Chiswick, Osterley and the Brent river paths
  • Central parks — Hyde Park, Regent's Park, Richmond and Bushy for space and deer-free routes
  • Woodland and heath — Hampstead, Highgate, Epping edges, Wimbledon Common
  • Riverside and urban — South Bank, Canary Wharf, Greenwich, Rotherhithe
  • At home or at your premises, using portable low-key lighting

Timing around London light and crowds

Early morning and the hour before sunset give the best light and the quietest parks — which matters more with a reactive or easily distracted animal than any camera setting does. Weekday sessions are usually calmer than weekends.

Practicalities

LUXELENS travels with its own lighting and needs no studio. Parking and access are checked before the shoot, and no London postcode carries a travel charge. Sessions outside London are quoted with travel calculated transparently from the LUXELENS base.

What you get

London pet photography questions

  • Is there a travel charge inside London?

No. Any London postcode is £0 travel. Outside London, travel is calculated from the LUXELENS base and shown to you before you confirm.

  • Can you shoot at my home in London?

Yes. LUXELENS brings portable lighting, so a home session gives a controlled studio-style result without moving the animal into an unfamiliar building.

  • Which London parks do you recommend?

It depends on your animal. Richmond and Bushy suit dogs that need space, Hampstead and Wimbledon Common suit woodland frames, and quieter west London parks suit nervous animals at early hours.

  • How far in advance should I book a London session?

Weekend and golden-hour slots go first. Availability is live on the booking page, and a deposit holds the slot.
