A pet photoshoot with LUXELENS is treated like any other premium commission: proper lighting, proper direction and proper editing. The specialism is canine, and dogs make up the majority of the portfolio — sessions include the animal alone, with its owner, or as part of a family.
How a pet photoshoot works
You tell LUXELENS about the animal — its age, energy, what it finds stressful and what it loves. The location and the time of day are then chosen around the animal rather than the diary.

What LUXELENS photographs
Dogs of every size and breed, from puppies and litters through to older dogs and show animals, plus kennel and breeder programmes. Other companion animals are welcome on request — LUXELENS will say honestly when a species is outside its experience rather than take the booking blind.
Owners in the frame
Many of the strongest frames include the owner: hands on the coat, eye contact, the small moments that make the animal itself recognisable. Say so when you book and the session is planned to include them.
Where LUXELENS travels
London carries no travel charge. UK sessions and European commissions are quoted with travel calculated transparently from the LUXELENS base before you commit to anything.
Delivery and image quality
Images are delivered through a private LUXELENS gallery — review, favourite and download at full resolution. Nothing is watermarked once the booking is settled, and the files are yours to print.

How long does a pet photoshoot take?
An hour is enough for one settled animal in one location. Two hours suits a nervous animal, multiple pets or more than one location, and a half day covers larger family or kennel sessions.
Can I be in the photos with my pet?
Yes, and it is encouraged. Owner-and-pet frames are included at no extra cost — just mention it when you book so the session is planned for it.
What if my pet won't settle on the day?
That is normal and it is planned for. The first part of the session is deliberately low pressure, and the strongest frames usually come once the animal has stopped noticing the camera.
Do you photograph animals other than dogs?
The LUXELENS specialism is canine. Other companion animals are considered on request — you will be told honestly whether it is within LUXELENS' experience before you pay anything.
